Grupo-SADA-Our-History

The history of the group began in the 1970s, in a dynamic Brazilian setting, when a young visionary arrived from Italy with great ambitions, marking the start of Grupo SADA's journey.

Founded in Contagem (MG) on August 4, 1976, SADA Transportes e Armazéns S/A was established to meet the automotive storage and distribution needs in the country. In 1983, SADA's headquarters moved to Betim (MG), where it remains to this day.

The company grew rapidly, evolving into a conglomerate of businesses. Much like its founder, the name "SADA" also has Italian origins.

Growth as a Tradition

Despite political and economic challenges of the time, the company cultivated a tradition of growth, emphasizing teamwork and the individual skills of its employees. This fostered an environment where everyone takes pride in contributing to a legacy of stability and significant achievements.

Diversity and Innovation in Business

To expand its operations, the company diversified its business and became a conglomerate that houses renowned brands. This expansion has strengthened the group's local and national presence, strategically positioning it near major automakers and ports in Brazil and other Latin American countries.

Today, Grupo SADA comprises more than 30 companies across various market segments, with its primary focus on logistics and the transportation of brand-new vehicles. In this sector, it forms the largest conglomerate of its kind in Latin America. Its solidity is built on a 48-year history and a forward-looking vision that transforms and contributes to the development of the country. According to the group’s founder, Vittorio Medioli, the success of these ventures is tied to a combination of factors, emphasizing hope, persistence, and the group’s ability to stay updated.

With a presence in more than 50 cities across Brazil and Latin America, Grupo SADA also operates in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. The conglomerate employs over 8,000 people across the 10 sectors in which it operates
